The Missouri Mathematics and Science, in partnership with the Carnegie Science Center will be hosting a Carnegie STEM Excellence Pathway Workshop. The Carnegie STEM Excellence Pathway Workshop will present on the STEM pathway rubric tool as developed by the Carnegie Science Center to increase school/district effectiveness in STEM education. The workshop will focus on integrating STEM curriculum across disciplines, grade-levels and schools. This will be a great opportunity for school and school district leadership to work across the education delivery model to address existing STEM integration work and to develop a practical plan for effective STEM education. The workshop will be facilitated by Coalition members and a special Skype presentation by Jason Brown, Director of Science and Education, Carnegie Science Center, Pittsburgh, PA. This workshop is sponsored by Brewer Science, hosted by Missouri State University - College of Natural and Applied Science and in partnership with the Southwest RPDC.

Audience: A STEM Leadership Team should consist of - School district leadership, principals, curriculum design professionals, STEM educators, CTE center directors, afterschool directors and/or STEM resource professionals. 4-12 per team.
Deadline: February 1, 2017
Cost: No cost to attendees. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided. STEM resource partners will be on hand in the afternoon to help with outreach and professional development opportunities.
