Dr. Larry Campbell is an emeritus professor of mathematics education at MSU. For seven weeks last summer, he turned into an explorer, adventurer, photographer and writer. Beginning at the official source of the Missouri River in Three Forks, Montana, he followed (by car) the sights, the stories and the culture of the Missouri River through its seven states to the point where it merges with the Mississippi near St. Louis, Missouri.
During this presentation, Dr. Campbell will share his adventures on the trip, from the beginning motivation to the end of the journey. See the sights, hear the stories and experience the adventure! From the touch of Switzerland in South Dakota to the Guardian Angel and the FedEx truck to the evolving beauty and growth of the river itself, there will not be a dull moment.
