for all ages
A total solar eclipse is one of the most amazing natural phenomena one can experience. The moon passes in front of the sun, blocking its light in part of totally for up to 3 hours. This incredible wonder has not been seen over the continental U.S. since 1979. MSU College of Natural and Applied Sciences invites the public to safely view the eclipse from Plaster Stadium, weather permitting. Viewing goggles will be available. Free parking will be available in the parking lot on East Trafficway across from Hammons Field, with shuttle service provided to the MSU campus.
