Take a StoryWalk®!

Friday, March 30, 10 a.m. for infants–age 6 at the Springfield Greene County Botanical Center, 2400 S. Scenic Ave.

Join us for a special Racing to Read Storytime in the Springfield-Greene County Botanical Center before going outside to launch a StoryWalk® featuring “Have You Heard the Nesting Bird?” by Rita Gray and Kenard Pak. StoryWalks® combine three important elements that promote learning: reading, moving and enjoying the outdoors. After we read our StoryWalk® title, we’ll create bird journals, then walk along the trail and enjoy the book displayed on signs along the way. This StoryWalk® will be available until April 20. Co-sponsored by the Springfield-Greene County Park Board.
