S.T.E.A.M. Train Saturdays- Library Center

2–4 p.m. for grades 1–6 in the Story Hour Room. All aboard the S.T.E.A.M. train for an afternoon of scientific exploration and educational play. Materials will be provided.

March 17: St. Patrick’s Day Edition. Practice your engineering skills by creating a leprechaun trap and then jump into rainbow science by making a spectroscope. You’ll be able to view your own rainbow and take it home to wow family and friends!

April 14: Titanic Edition. Curious about the sinking of the RMS Titanic? Discover the science surrounding the Titanic tragedy on the 106th anniversary of the event. Build an unsinkable ship, touch an iceberg, design a lifeboat and more.

May 12: Robotics. Take part in robot activities and play with Bee-Bots, Quirkbots, and Gears! Gears! Gears! Robot Factory.
