Canoeing: Discover Nature - Women's Canoeing

Date: Wednesday, June 27, 2018 - 9:00am to 3:00pm

Location: Southwest Regional Office

Come explore the James River by canoe with MDC staff as we share our knowledge and skill of canoeing and fishing the river. Participants will meet at the Southwest Regional MDC Office, 2630 N Mayfair, Springfield, at 9 AM and return around 3 PM. Participants 16-65 must have a valid fishing permit. Transportation and canoes will be provided; however, participants will need to pack a lunch, drinks (no alcohol please), and protective gear, i.e. sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen. This event is for women ages 14 and up. Women 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult. Online registration is required.
