STEAM Train
Saturdays, 2 p.m. for grades 1–6 at the Library Station: in the Story Hour Room.
All aboard the STEAM train for an afternoon of scientific exploration and educational play. Materials will be provided.
• March 9: Clean Energy. Learn about alternative energy resources and how we use technology to convert solar and wind power into usable energy, then design and build your own wind-powered car to compete in energy-themed STEAM challenges.
• April 6: Bird Brain. Birds are smarter than they are given credit for. Learn about birds while competing in our “Best Nest” and “Eat Like a Bird” challenges.
