Speaker- Temple Grandin

Temple Grandin will speak at a February program sponsored by the Univ. of MO Extension’s 4-H Youth development faculty as well as the History Museum of the Square, STARTS for Autism and Greene County 4-H For All.

Grandin a renowned expert and animal welfare advocate will speak from 7-9pm on February 24th at the historic Fox Theater on Park Central Square in an effort to influence people, programs, policies and services that impact the lives of young people with autism and their families.

Gardin has written several books about autism and animal behavior. She was bullied as a child, but mentoring by her high school science teacher and her aunt on a ranch in Arizona motivated her to become a scientist and livestock equipment designer.
