Native Plants: Diggin' Deep: An Insect's View of the Garden (V)

Registration period: Now through- January 13

Date: Thursday, January 13, 2022 10:00 am - Thursday, January 13, 2022 11:00 am

Location: Online only

This monthly native plant virtual program will explore the wonders of colors in plants. For January we are going to look at flowers through the eyes of insects. Our eyes can see the beauty and color of a flower but insect eyes detect much more detail. Let's look at some of our favorite native plants and how they use color to attract pollinators. Let's all put on our bug eyes!

This program was developed for adults but could be used as part of a home school or classroom curriculum. For those participating in "A Year in Color" this program is color coded green and virtual participants are welcome to pick up their bead at the nature center after the program.
