Kids Fishing Day: Roaring River State Park

Location: Roaring River State Park

Roaring River Kids Fishing Day. May 14, 2022. Fishing will be from 6:30 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.

Classes will be from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. If kids attend 3 of the classes, they can be entered into the prize drawing. Prize drawing will be held at 4 p.m.

Classes include: Fish Cleaning, Fish Cooking, Archery, Dutch Oven Cooking, Fly Casting, Fly Tying, Wildlife Classes (Fish Biology, Snakes and Insects), Cave Hike, Stream Table, Stream Team, Library Story Time and Outdoor Crafts.

Free kids lunch hot dogs, chips and drinks will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the CCC Lodge.
