Native Plants: Dyeing with Wild Plants

Missouri is home to an incredible variety of plants, many of which can create amazing dye. Naturalist Jordi Raos will show you how to make a few types of natural dye using plants you can find in our state. We’ll take a lunch break from noon to 1pm as we let some of our dyes set (lunch on your own). We’ll be working with native plants and wool yarn. Wear clothes you can get stained and closed-toe shoes. Ages 12-adult.
